What is a Medical Herbalist? Firstly, treating the person as a whole and not the disease. This is very important as most diseases take time to develop and are created by multiple factors many of which are how the person has lived until now. Treating only the disease is likely to miss the causes of the current situation and if not addressed will continue to create the initiators and drivers of disease and poor health. This is often called a wholistic view of health.

Importantly Herbal Medicine in the form of a personalised formula is a central part of addressing the health issues however there are other elements to getting your body back on the healthy track such as Nutritional Supplements, specific diets, exercise and lifestyle advice. Sometimes these are very specific to make a rapid change in body chemistry especially in major chronic conditions.

Geoff also uses a form of Kinesiology known as TBM (Total Body Modification TM) to focus his treatment. TBM actually speeds up the recovery time by activating the body’s own systems enhancing their ability to recover. TBM acts in a similar way to Acupuncture by correcting the body’s energetics and in combination with Herbal Therapy the healing time is significantly reduced.

As a trained chiropractor, naturopath, osteopath and charter diplomate of Applied Kinesiology, Dr. Frank developed an integrative approach to restoring the body’s self-regulation and, thereby, healing capacity by working through the autonomic nervous system. TBM rapidly restores function-specific and energetic harmony to the human body. TBM synthesizes a vast array of techniques into one cohesive system utilizing its pioneering work in accessing and programming the human biocomputer. These include soft-tissue manipulation, nutritional supplementation, neurosensory testing (“muscle testing”), organ activation, lifestyle modifications, life coaching and articular adjusting.

Geoff is also a skilled bodyworker using a technique called Ortho-Dynamics to access and release trigger points in muscles and fascia which effectively shorten muscles which can significantly affect posture and even pull vertebra out of alignment. OrthoDynamics works very well when combined with Chiropractic and either Yoga or Pilates. Geoff has also been trained in Bowen Therapy which enables a very simple, effective treatment for more minor conditions.

Dr. Simon Morgan BSMC is the owner and director of Revolution Chiropractic Centre, located at Miami One Shopping Centre.

Key areas of his practice include Patient-Centred Xray-Guided specific techniques, that includes corrective adjustments, mobilisations, elongation work and tractive therapy, range-of-motion work, and soft-tissue work.

Dr. Simon’s practice even has an X-ray machine, and another designated room with Xray-guided specific traction devices, to help hold the corrections in place and significantly enhance patient benefits. He knows the serious side-effects of scoliosis and hunch-back areas, as well as sway-backs, hip-length/leg-length anomalies, shoulder drops and stooped necks, which can be devastating to health, so he thoroughly believes in the significant research that’s coming out about getting the body machine chiropractically-aligned, and staying well-adjusted.

Outside of the practice he enjoys family and friend time that involves swimming, surfing, hiking, and good wholesome food. He loves exploring the diverse and beautiful eastern Australian hinterland, and having been brought up in rural Australia, far from the Gold Coast, enjoys his family reunions back on the family farms located in the Narromine area of NSW.

One of his soft spots is for charities looking after people with disabilities, as his brother suffered brain damage early in life, and other than that, he is a general enthusiast for good conversation and good company.
